Leah Caruso is a dynamic force with over 25 years of expertise in brand development, marketing, culture evolution and creating unforgettable experiences. Her career is a testament to her exceptional ability to shape iconic projects and elevate brands.
Leah’s journey began in the fashion industry, where she served as the brand director for Tim Gunn of Project Runway. In this role, she crafted innovative, multi-platform strategies that revolutionized how women engaged with fashion. Beyond styling and co-hosting runway events alongside Gunn, Leah collaborated with industry giants like CAA, Bravo, The Weinstein Company, Lifetime, ABC, and Simon & Schuster, ensuring seamless alignment across all projects.
Transitioning to the retail sector, Leah played a pivotal role in the redevelopment of the World Trade Center. She masterminded marketing strategies and orchestrated groundbreaking events for over 100 retailers in the $4 billion Oculus. Notably, she spearheaded the first-ever event at the Oculus in collaboration with the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund, setting a new standard for high-profile launches.
Leah then took her expertise to Hudson Yards, where she managed events, activations, and cultural programming for the colossal $20 billion development. She oversaw a $7.5 million annual budget and contributed to the grand opening for The Shops and Vessel, all while maintaining high-touch communication with key partners and delivering exceptional experiences across the 12 million square feet of phase one.
Most recently, as Head of Events and Partnerships at one of the U.S.’s largest hotel owner-operators, Leah has elevated independent hotels like the TWA Hotel and The High Line Hotel, leading innovative experiences and forging impactful partnerships.
